Selects 12 participating school districts total—four each from the southern, central, and northern regions of the state, representing urban, suburban, and rural areas

Requires participating districts to train staff or community volunteers on FAFSA completion and provide classroom instruction time for students to work on applications with parents or guardians

Mandates that students receive FAFSA information before entering grade 12, covering required documentation, eligibility requirements, key terms, and submission deadlines

Requires the Commissioner of Education to submit a final report to the Governor and Legislature with recommendations on statewide implementation feasibility
