Prohibits any person who develops or deploys an artificial intelligence system in New Jersey from advertising or representing that the system is or can act as a licensed mental health professional

Violations constitute an unlawful practice under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, punishable by up to $10,000 for a first offense and up to $20,000 for subsequent offenses

Licensed mental health professionals covered include those regulated by boards overseeing psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, counselors, nurses, physicians, psychoanalysts, and creative arts therapists

The Attorney General may issue cease and desist orders, and violations can result in punitive damages and treble damages awarded to injured parties

Takes effect on the first day of the sixth month following enactment
