School districts must allow home-schooled students to try out for and participate in school-sponsored extracurricular activities including clubs, musical ensembles, interscholastic sports, and theatrical productions in their district of residence.

Home-schooled students must meet the same eligibility criteria as enrolled students, provide proof of residency, and comply with all policies and regulations of the governing organization for the activity.

Students seeking to participate in interscholastic athletics must demonstrate they did not transfer to home-schooling for athletic advantage; those ineligible at the time of withdrawal from public school remain ineligible.

School districts must allow home-schooled students access to required physical examinations or medical tests for participation and publish exam dates and times on their website.
