Proposes adding paragraph 23 to Article I of the New Jersey Constitution to permanently preserve the right of people to fish, hunt, trap, and harvest fish and wildlife as part of the state's heritage.

Requires fish and wildlife management through laws and regulations that provide continued opportunity to take species traditionally pursued using traditional means and methods.

Mandates that fishing, hunting, trapping, and harvesting by traditional means always be the preferred and available method for controlling invasive or overpopulated species.

If approved by the Legislature, the amendment would be submitted to voters at a general election occurring more than three months after final agreement, with publication in newspapers at least three months prior.

Sponsored by Senator Parker Space (District 24 - Morris, Sussex and Warren counties) and pre-filed for introduction in the 2026 session.
