Designates the first week of May each year as "Children's Mental Health Awareness Week" in New Jersey as a permanent annual observance

Requests the Governor to annually issue a proclamation calling on public officials and citizens to observe the week with appropriate activities and programs

Aims to foster public awareness and understanding of mental health and mental illness in children, and reduce stigma associated with these conditions

Aligns with National Children's Mental Health Awareness Week already recognized during the first week of May

Addresses concerns that many children with mental health disorders do not receive treatment due to poor understanding, stigma, or lack of access to care
