Designates July 30 of each year as "Brian Sicknick Day" in New Jersey, honoring the U.S. Capitol Police officer who died following the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack.

July 30 was chosen as Officer Sicknick's birthday; he was born in 1978 in New Brunswick, New Jersey and graduated from East Brunswick's Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School in 1996.

Officer Sicknick served over 12 years with the U.S. Capitol Police, joining in July 2008, and was assigned to the First Responders Unit and mountain bike unit.

Prior to his Capitol Police service, Sicknick served in the New Jersey Air National Guard from 1997-2003, deploying to Saudi Arabia (1999) and Kyrgyzstan (2003) before receiving an honorable discharge.

Requests the Governor annually issue a proclamation recognizing the designated day.
