Designates April of each year as "Military Sexual Trauma Awareness Month" in New Jersey to promote awareness of sexual violence in the military and recognize affected service members and veterans

Authorizes the Governor to annually issue a proclamation calling upon public officials and citizens to observe the month with appropriate activities and programs

Cites VA data showing 1 in 3 female veterans and 1 in 50 male veterans report experiencing military sexual trauma (MST), with FY 2021 recording the highest number of sexual assault reports in DOD history

Notes New Jersey has approximately 6,461 active-duty service members and 350,538 veterans who may be affected by MST and its associated health conditions including PTSD, depression, and anxiety
