The resolution would be transmitted to governors of Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia

Sponsors cite grid reliability concerns and note that companies like Google are already partnering with clean energy providers to develop data centers with carbon-free power sources
