Congressman William J. Pascrell Jr. served 36 years in public office as a New Jersey Assemblyman (1988-1996), Mayor of Paterson (1990-1996), and U.S. House Representative (1997 until his death on August 21, 2024)

Pascrell co-founded and co-chaired the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force, advancing national policy and research for traumatic and acquired brain injuries affecting cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being

The resolution urges all current and future New Jersey members of Congress to join the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force, now co-chaired by Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA) and Rep. Morgan Luttrell (R-TX)

Copies of the resolution will be transmitted to the Speaker and Minority Leader of the U.S. House, all New Jersey congressional members, Task Force co-chairs, and the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey
