Urges the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners to name the County Route 18 bridge (Ocean Avenue) between Belmar and Avon-by-the-Sea in honor of Jeffrey Mahon and Jeffrey Hoens

Jeffrey Mahon was born July 16, 1960, raised in Avon-by-the-Sea, attended Benedictine College on a football scholarship, and died in a motor vehicle accident at age 20

Jeffrey Hoens was raised in Westfield, volunteered as assistant coach for the New Jersey Dare Devils hockey team for youth with disabilities, and died while free diving near the bridge on July 16, 2016

The search for Jeffrey Hoens coincided with Jeffrey Mahon's birthday and involved Avon-by-the-Sea police, including Chief Terence Mahon, brother of Jeffrey Mahon

Resolution directs copies to be transmitted to each member of the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners
