Declares September 22-28, 2024 as "Diaper Need Awareness Week" in New Jersey to foster public awareness of insufficient diaper supplies affecting families

One in three mothers experience diaper need while their children are under age three, and 48% of families delay changing diapers to extend their supply

Diapers cannot be purchased with food stamps or WIC vouchers, creating economic hardship for low-income families who need approximately 50 diaper changes per week per child

Urges all state governmental agencies to organize diaper drives supporting diaper banks and organizations that distribute diapers to families in need

Requests the Governor issue a proclamation calling on public officials and citizens to observe the week with appropriate activities and programs
