Counties and municipalities are prohibited from imposing lot size requirements in residential zones

Residential properties are exempted from provisions requiring conflicting zoning regulations to defer to whichever standard is more restrictive (e.g., greater yard size, lower building height, greater unoccupied land percentage)

Zoning authorities retain authority to regulate building height, lot coverage percentage, yard sizes, population density, and land use in residential zones

Amends Section 3-21-1 and Section 3-21-11 NMSA 1978 governing county and municipal zoning authority
