Appropriates $250,000 from the general fund to the University of New Mexico's Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies for fiscal year 2027

Funds year-round scholarships for the Curanderismo Traditional Medicine Institute, prioritizing New Mexico residents, rural/tribal/indigenous community members, and those intending to provide culturally rooted healing services in the state

Supports statewide outreach including courses, workshops, informational sessions, and engagement with tribal governments, acequia communities, and underserved populations

Requires the department to research, study, and create new curanderismo traditional medicine courses to address cultural and health needs of New Mexico communities

Any unexpended funds at the end of fiscal year 2027 revert to the general fund
