School districts and state-chartered charter schools must report the number of charter school students transported on their bus routes, including students transported by other districts or charter schools under agreements

New reporting requirements include the number of students using public transit or department-approved fare-based transportation and associated costs

Districts and charter schools must report any expansion data showing new routes, increased miles traveled, or new riders compared to the prior school year

Schools reporting expanded transportation services in the current year will receive funding allocations in that same year based on the expansion data, rather than waiting for the following year

Current-year expansion allocations are subject to reconciliation or adjustment in the subsequent school year as provided by Public Education Department rules
