Appropriates $100,000 from the general fund to the Children, Youth and Families Department for fiscal years 2027 and 2028

Requires weekly reports to the Office of Child Advocate on children in CYFD custody who have been required to stay overnight in an office

Requires monthly reports to three legislative committees: the interim committee on courts, corrections and justice; the Legislative Health and Human Services Committee; and the Legislative Finance Committee

Reports must include the total number of children affected, reasons for the overnight office stays, duration of stays, and current status or resolution of each placement

Any unexpended funds revert to the general fund at the end of fiscal year 2028
