Creates the "career technical externship program" within the Workforce Solutions Department to provide professional development for career technical teachers in public schools and faculty at public community colleges

Pairs educators with industry representatives in high-skill, in-demand, and emerging professions to enhance technical skills and understanding of changing workforce standards and procedures

Requires the Workforce Solutions Department to collaborate with the Public Education Department and community college career technical faculty to design the program and application process

Appropriates $250,000 from the general fund for fiscal year 2027 to implement and administer the program, with unexpended funds reverting to the general fund
