FDA-approved synthetic psilocybin or drugs containing synthetic psilocybin would be automatically approved for use in New Mexico upon receiving federal approval

Amends the Controlled Substances Act to exempt FDA-approved synthetic psilocybin from Schedule I controlled substance restrictions, while maintaining existing exemptions under the Medical Psilocybin Act

Updates administrative terminology throughout the Controlled Substances Act, replacing "regulation" with "rule" and "Uniform Licensing" with "State Rules Act"

Psilocybin remains listed as a Schedule I hallucinogenic substance except when used under the Medical Psilocybin Act or when in FDA-approved synthetic form
