Level two license is a nine-year license for nurses who have demonstrated competency as level one school nurses or have at least three years of registered nursing experience

Level three license is a nine-year license requiring at least three years as a level two school nurse (or three years of nursing experience), plus a post-baccalaureate degree or national board certification

School nurse minimum salaries are tied to corresponding teacher levels (level one nurse equals level one teacher salary, etc.), with an effective date of July 1, 2026
