Acknowledges the persistent and growing nursing and health care workforce shortage affecting hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health systems statewide

Notes significant health care access barriers in rural and frontier communities, including long travel distances, limited provider availability, and chronic understaffing

Directs copies of the memorial be transmitted to the New Mexico Nurses Association, statewide health care professional organizations, and leadership of all New Mexico hospitals and health care facilities
