Study must analyze current professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators on family engagement, noting that less than 20% of teachers nationally report receiving such training despite over 70% of parents believing it is vital

Recommendations should address legislative, regulatory, and budgetary actions including potential funding for dedicated family liaison positions and training programs for educators

Findings and recommendations must be presented to the New Mexico Legislative Council by August 31, 2026 and published on the committee's website by September 30, 2026
