Declares January 22, 2026 as "New Mexico MESA Day" in the House of Representatives

New Mexico MESA is a nonprofit mathematics, engineering, and science achievement program that has grown from 6 schools in 1982 to nearly 110 schools statewide

The program serves middle, junior high, and high school students from culturally diverse communities with tutoring, college counseling, academic competitions, leadership workshops, summer programs, and scholarship incentives

Recognizes the organization's dedication to preparing minority students for careers in mathematics, engineering, and science

Directs that a copy of the memorial be transmitted to New Mexico MESA, Incorporated
