Amends Section 64-1-22 NMSA 1978 to expand the definition of unlawful interference with aircraft flight to include directing a laser at an aircraft, in addition to discharging firearms or launching missiles/projectiles

First offense of unlawful interference with aircraft flight is classified as a fourth degree felony

Second and subsequent offenses are elevated to a third degree felony

Interference that results in harm to a person on the aircraft requiring medical treatment is classified as a third degree felony

Repeals Section 64-1-23 NMSA 1978 (the previous penalty provision from 1965)
