Appropriates $27 million from the general fund to the University of New Mexico Board of Regents to supplement graduate medical education costs for fiscal years 2027 through 2029

Eligible entities include federally qualified health centers, rural health clinics, independent psychiatric facilities, and critical access hospitals that sponsor or participate in accredited residency programs in New Mexico

Covered costs include medical resident salaries and benefits, supervising physician and faculty costs, accreditation and instructional expenses, and program administration

New Mexico residents must be prioritized for residency support

Unexpended funds remaining at the end of fiscal year 2029 revert to the general fund
