Prohibits federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits from being used to purchase sweetened drinks or candy in New Mexico

Defines "candy" as preparations of sugar, honey, or other sweeteners combined with chocolate, fruits, nuts, or other ingredients in the form of bars, drops, or pieces

Defines "sweetened drink" as nonalcoholic water-based beverages containing 5 grams or more of added sugar or any amount of artificial sweeteners

Exempts beverages containing milk or milk products, soymilk, rice milk, or similar milk substitutes from the sweetened drink restriction

Exempts beverages with at least 50% vegetable or fruit juice by volume from the sweetened drink restriction
