Appropriates $2,500,000 from the general fund to the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and Administration for fiscal year 2027

Funds will support contracted services for spay and neuter programs at the Raton animal shelter

Funds will also provide veterinary care services at the shelter

Appropriation includes funding for physical improvements to the Raton animal shelter facility

Any unexpended funds at the end of fiscal year 2027 revert to the general fund
