Appropriates $500,000 from the general fund to the Public Education Department for fiscal year 2027

Funds will be used to issue certificates to individuals proficient in Native American language and culture of Indian nations, tribes, or pueblos located wholly or partially in New Mexico

Certificates are issued pursuant to existing law under Section 22-10A-13 NMSA 1978

Any unexpended funds at the end of fiscal year 2027 revert to the general fund
