Physicians licensed under the Medical Practice Act may perform auricular acupuncture (ear acupuncture) within their authorized scope of practice, without requiring a separate oriental medicine license

Amends the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Practice Act to create an exception for licensed physicians alongside existing exceptions for doctors of oriental medicine and certified auricular detoxification specialists

Auricular detoxification specialists must still meet existing requirements including completing national acupuncture detoxification association training, working under supervision of a licensed doctor of oriental medicine, and maintaining certification through the board

Fee structure for auricular detoxification specialists remains unchanged: up to $150 application fee, $75 renewal fee, and $50 late fee
