NM SB57

Creates the crime of "unlawful concealing of the identity of a peace officer" when an officer executing a search, seizure, or service of process conceals their face, badge, name, or employer in a way that causes reasonable belief they lack lawful authority, punishable as a misdemeanor

Establishes "aggravated unlawful concealing of the identity of a peace officer" as a fourth degree felony when concealment is done with intent to deceive, intimidate, or interfere with creating a public record

Amends the definition of "peace officer" in impersonation statutes to explicitly include federal, state, and local officers (previously applied only to public officials)

Restricts bail bond recovery agents from representing themselves as sworn peace officers, wearing government-like uniforms or badges, or using fictitious government names

Prohibits bail bond recovery agents from using their position for immigration enforcement or disclosing bail fugitive information for immigration purposes, except pursuant to a valid judicial warrant
