Jetty jacks are defined as steel and heavy wire jacks installed by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for river bank maintenance

The exemption removes jetty jacks from state historic preservation requirements, including registration on the New Mexico register of cultural properties

Amends Section 18-6-3 NMSA 1978 (Cultural Properties Act) and Section 18-6A-2 NMSA 1978 (Cultural Properties Protection Act) by adding the new definition and exclusion
