Commercial establishments that sell access to live animals for public interaction must post a sign at least 8.5 by 11 inches at the payment location with the local animal control authority's phone number and information about reporting animal cruelty

Failure to post the required sign results in an administrative penalty of $100 per day the sign is not displayed

Accredited institutional members of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums are exempt from the signage requirement

The sign must notify the public they may contact local animal control if they believe an animal is in danger or has been subjected to cruelty under NRS 574.100
