Nevada would join the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact, allowing dentists and dental hygienists licensed in participating states to practice in other participating states without obtaining a separate license through a "Compact Privilege" system.

Applicants for Compact Privilege must hold an unencumbered license, pass National Board Examinations, graduate from accredited programs, complete a clinical assessment, and report any adverse actions within 30 days.

Active military members and their spouses are exempt from Commission fees for obtaining a Compact Privilege.

The Compact creates the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact Commission, a joint government agency with authority to adopt rules, levy assessments on participating states, impose fees on licensees, and maintain a data system for sharing licensure and disciplinary information.

The Compact takes effect when seven states enact it, and states may withdraw with 180 days' notice after repealing their enactment statute.
