Raises the Account for Student Indemnification balance threshold from $250,000 to $750,000, above which licensed postsecondary educational institutions are exempt from paying the quarterly $5 per-student fee

Licensed postsecondary institutions must resume paying the fee if the Account balance falls below $750,000, until it reaches that threshold again

The Account for Student Indemnification provides compensation to students harmed when a postsecondary institution closes or violates licensing regulations

Applies to privately owned postsecondary educational institutions licensed by the Commission on Postsecondary Education
