Writs of garnishment where the State of Nevada is the named garnishee must now be served upon the Division of Human Resource Management of the Department of Administration instead of the State Controller

Amends NRS 31.249 to redirect service of process for wage garnishments involving state employees to the agency that manages state personnel and payroll

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval
