Legislative Commission must appoint a Regional Rail Transit Advisory Working Group to conduct an interim study during 2025-2026 on developing regional rail transit in Nevada's regional communities

Advisory Working Group consists of 12 voting members including labor union representatives from Clark and Washoe Counties, Regional Transportation Commission representatives, legislators, local government officials, business representatives, and residents with rail transit expertise

Study must examine the current state of rail and public transit, the need for regional rail, potential federal, state, private, and nonprofit funding sources, and identify public or private entities to oversee development

Advisory Working Group must submit an actionable development plan and written report with findings and legislative recommendations to the Joint Interim Standing Committee on Growth and Infrastructure by July 1, 2026

Members serve without compensation or travel reimbursement, and the group must meet at least monthly with a majority constituting a quorum
