Counties with population of 700,000 or more (currently only Clark County) must notify the Department of Transportation before conducting clean-ups of homeless encampments immediately adjacent to Department-controlled rights-of-way

Department of Transportation is authorized to consult with homeless outreach teams established by county commissioners for outreach and clean-up purposes

Department of Transportation may participate in the clean-up of homeless encampments located within rights-of-way under its control
