Expands the Student Loan Repayment for Providers of Health Care in Underserved Communities Program to include public health professionals, including the Chief Medical Officer, county and district health officers, and employees of the Division of Public and Behavioral Health or local boards of health in hard-to-fill positions

Adds seven new categories of health care providers eligible for loan repayment: speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, marriage and family therapists, clinical alcohol and drug counselors, problem gambling counselors, and behavior analysts

Renames the program to "Student Loan Repayment for Providers of Health Care and Public Health Professionals in Underserved Communities Program" and renames the associated funding account accordingly

Requires the State Board of Health to recommend positions with substantial recruitment and retention difficulties to the State Treasurer for designation as eligible public health professional positions

Maintains the existing $120,000 maximum loan repayment per participant and 5-year service commitment requirement in underserved communities, effective October 1, 2025
