Nevada State Service Corps established within the Department of Administration to place and mentor recent graduates of the Nevada System of Higher Education in Executive Department positions

Eligible participants include students graduating or who graduated within the preceding year from NSHE institutions, with the Director of the Department determining annual participant numbers

Legislative Commission required to appoint a legislator as an unpaid advisor to promote state service benefits and encourage participants

Positions may be filled without competitive evaluation, and participants are exempt from the standard 160-hour annual limit on temporary appointments
