Acceptable age verification methods include uploading government-issued ID (passport, driver's license, permanent resident card, tribal ID), using transactional data verification, or third-party age verification services

Operators must comply with NRS Chapter 603A security and privacy requirements for collected personal information and may only use that information for age verification or proving compliance

Willful violations carry civil penalties up to $10,000 per violation, recoverable by the Attorney General; parents or guardians may also sue for compensatory damages, attorney's fees, and punitive damages

Internet service providers, search engines, and cloud service providers that merely provide access to covered websites are exempt; effective date is January 1, 2026
