Counties with population 700,000+ (Clark County) must establish at least 10 mail ballot drop box locations during the period between the end of early voting and the day before the general election, open at least 7 hours daily

Counties with population 100,000-700,000 (Washoe County) must establish at least 5 such drop box locations with the same 7-hour minimum daily availability

Counties under 100,000 population may optionally establish drop box locations and set their own hours during this period

All ballot drop boxes must be monitored at all times when in use and secured when not available, with the Secretary of State required to adopt regulations establishing monitoring and security requirements

Authorized persons may return mail ballots on behalf of voters to these newly established drop box locations, and ballots deposited in these boxes count as valid votes in the general election
