Prohibits hospitals and psychiatric hospitals from employing physicians to practice medicine, homeopathic medicine, or osteopathic medicine, codifying what has been longstanding practice in Nevada

Allows exceptions for physicians participating in graduate programs approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, and for hospitals owned or operated by the State Government

Exempts facilities operated by religious denominations for spiritual healing purposes and facilities operated by the U.S. Government from the employment prohibition

Authorizes the Division of Public and Behavioral Health to suspend or revoke hospital licenses for violations, and impose administrative penalties of up to $5,000 per day per violation plus interest up to 10% annually

Takes effect upon passage and approval, with no fiscal impact on state or local government
