Division of Parole and Probation may petition for release of persons under lifetime supervision for sexual offenses if they have had no threatening offense convictions for at least 20 consecutive years after last conviction or release from incarceration

Persons under lifetime supervision may still self-petition for release after 10 consecutive years without threatening offenses, provided they comply with sex offender registry requirements and a licensed clinical professional determines they pose no safety threat

Probation deductions of 10 days per month apply to felony and gross misdemeanor offenders regardless of whether probation term is fixed or indeterminate, when current on supervision fees/restitution or actively employed/enrolled in approved programs

Provisions apply retroactively to persons sentenced to lifetime supervision or probation before, on, or after October 1, 2025
