Eliminates the requirement that grade 11 pupils take a college and career readiness assessment selected by the State Board of Education to receive a standard high school diploma

Repeals the State Board's obligation to select a college and career readiness assessment and the Department of Education's requirement to develop an informational pamphlet about the assessment

Removes references to the college and career readiness assessment from accountability reports, school improvement plans, and various reporting requirements for school districts, charter schools, and empowerment schools

Updates testing security provisions, personnel disciplinary procedures, and graduation plan policies to remove all references to the college and career readiness assessment while maintaining these requirements for criterion-referenced examinations

Becomes effective July 1, 2026
