Brew pub operators may sell retail alcoholic beverages (beyond their own malt beverages) at their brew pub location and at up to two commonly controlled retail liquor store locations, provided they obtain required licenses, purchase from licensed wholesalers, and meet location requirements including a 1,000-foot distance from gaming establishments for licenses obtained on or after January 1, 2025

Brew pub operators may now sell their additional 20,000 barrels of malt beverages (beyond the 40,000 barrel annual limit) either to out-of-state wholesalers or directly to consumers residing in other states where legally permitted

The Department of Taxation gains authority to directly investigate, conduct hearings, and suspend or revoke liquor licenses without requiring a prior recommendation from county commissioners or city governing bodies

Retail liquor stores must pay wholesale dealers for beer, wine, and distilled spirits via electronic funds transfer (initiated by the wholesaler) within 30 days of delivery, or may elect to pay by credit card with the retailer bearing all transaction costs

Liquor manufacturers must now preserve invoices and records of liquors manufactured, purchased, or received for 4 years for Department of Taxation inspection and audit
