Authorizes the Adjutant General to appoint a Deputy Adjutant General from either the Nevada Army National Guard or Nevada Air National Guard, adding this position to the Governor's military staff

Requires Deputy Adjutant General candidates to be federally recognized at colonel rank or higher with at least 4 years of service in the Nevada National Guard as a federally recognized officer

Places the Deputy Adjutant General in the unclassified service of the State, replacing the Chief of Staff for Army position which is removed from unclassified service

Establishes succession order when Adjutant General is absent: Deputy Adjutant General serves first as Acting Adjutant General, then Assistant Adjutants General, then any national guard officer

Effective July 1, 2025
