Mandates budget adjustments of $80,000+ for elementary/middle schools or $125,000+ for high schools require organizational team notification and a meeting with the school associate superintendent within 10 days; all expenditures of student-generated funds must be approved by the organizational team

Prohibits principals from serving on organizational teams in any capacity other than as principal, establishes alternate member designation procedures for vacancies, and requires the superintendent to maintain a contact directory of all organizational team members

Requires school associate superintendents to attend at least one organizational team meeting annually per school they oversee and send training materials and communication instructions to team members by November 1 each year

Strengthens principal hiring process by requiring at least two organizational team members (one teacher/staff, one parent) to participate in candidate interviews, mandating a public input meeting within 14 days of vacancy notice, and requiring a community meeting within 10 days to introduce the selected principal
