Creates the Purple Ribbon Task Force on Firefighter and Peace Officer Wellness, a 9-member body appointed by legislative leaders and the Governor to review state policies on mental and physical health wellness initiatives for firefighters, peace officers, and law enforcement personnel

Task Force membership must include representatives from local government, peace officer and firefighter labor organizations, a behavioral health resource officer, and state law enforcement agencies

Members serve without compensation, but state and local government employees on the Task Force must be relieved from duties without loss of pay and cannot be required to use vacation or compensatory time for Task Force work

Task Force must submit a written report with recommendations to the Senate and Assembly Standing Committees on Government Affairs for the 84th Legislative Session

Members must be appointed by October 1, 2025; the act becomes effective July 1, 2025, and expires June 30, 2027
