Tuberculosis testing for terminated police officers, firefighters, and arson investigators changes from "at the time of termination" to "within 30 days after termination," with a follow-up test at 3 months remaining unchanged.

Testing for other contagious diseases (hepatitis A, B, C, and HIV) changes from 30 days, 6 months, and 12 months after termination to 30 days and between 4-6 months after termination.

All blood tests and other appropriate tests for contagious diseases must now be based on the most recent recommendations of the CDC or American Medical Association.

Applies to police officers, salaried and volunteer firefighters, arson investigators, and emergency medical attendants for workers' compensation eligibility purposes.

Provisions apply only to claims filed on or after October 1, 2025.
