Eliminates the requirement for the Division of Child and Family Services to deduct the cost of publicly-funded services from a child's separate account in the Trust Fund for Child Welfare

Applies to children receiving child welfare services in counties with populations under 100,000 (all Nevada counties except Clark and Washoe)

Requires the full balance of a child's account to be remitted to the parent, legal guardian, or the child (if emancipated or age 18+) when the Division is no longer legally responsible for the child

Removes the provision allowing surplus funds after deductions to be spent on "extraordinary items" beneficial to the child

Effective date: July 1, 2025
