Renames the State Guardianship Compliance Office to the State Guardianship Office and changes the officer title accordingly, while expanding hiring authority to allow as many accountants and investigators as deemed necessary within legislative appropriations

Prohibits governmental entities from charging fees for documents requested by investigators conducting guardianship investigations

Authorizes courts to appoint or extend guardianship for protected minors seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile status with USCIS until age 21, provided the minor is unmarried and consents

Expands service of process options by allowing alternative methods authorized by the court under Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure, and permits courts to waive publication requirements for good cause

Eliminates the requirement to notify the Director of Health and Human Services for minor guardianship proceedings involving Medicaid recipients; effective July 1, 2025
