Electronic notaries must be physically present in Nevada when performing electronic notarial acts using audio-video communication

Document preparation service registrants performing services under multiple business entities must file bonds ranging from $25,000 (sole proprietorship or one entity) to $200,000 (more than 10 entities), and business entities must file bonds on behalf of both employees and independent contractors

Information and documents obtained during Secretary of State investigations of document preparation services are confidential, and registrants are prohibited from engaging in document preparation services under entities not covered by required bonds
